As a return gift, women are also into the world’s security. To support them, we shall study some of the organizations or associations that relate to Women in Security.

WiCyS (Women in Cyber Security): It is a community of engagement, encouragement and support for women in cyber security. It is the premier organization with a national reach dedicated to bringing together women in cyber security from academia, research and industry to share knowledge, experience, networking and mentoring. They also work with universities and help students to understand what being a security expert. WoSEC (Women of Security): It was started by a lady from Ottawa (Canada) known as Tanya Janca as she saw the wonderful friendships that Cyber Ladies in Israel have, and she thought “I want that too, that’s a fantastic idea”. WoSEC has resulted in: women starting businesses together, mentoring relationships, job interviews, internships, people being able to recruit from our community, a cheering squad showing up to surprise female speakers, standing up for each other, priceless advice, and friendship. That’s inspiring!! More details here.
